Overview

The Amarnath Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage undertaken by devotees to the Amarnath Cave, where the naturally formed ice lingam of Lord Shiva is worshipped. Every year, thousands of pilgrims embark on this spiritual journey through the breathtaking Himalayan terrain, passing through Baltal and Pahalgam routes. The yatra is conducted during the auspicious Shravani Mela, typically between July and August. Pilgrims prepare for the challenging trek with Amarnath Yatra registration, medical certificates, and RFID cards issued by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. Itinerary

After early breakfast, a short drive of 04 Kms will take you to Neelgrath Helipad. Neelgrath-Panjtarni– Neelgrath helicopter ride. The Helicopter starts operating at 06.00 Hrs (Weather Permitting). Panjtarni is approx 6 Kms from Holy Cave; you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost. After darshan returns back to Panjtarnito board a helicopter to Neelgrath. Return back to Sonmarg. On arrival checkin your hotel, rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Sonmarg.

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and you will proceed to Srinagar, arrive at Srinagar checkin hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Mughal gardens, Shalimar Garden, Nishat Bagh, Chashma shahi, Parri Mahal. Evening Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Srinagar.
